India’s Tour of Australia started with the three-match T20 series at Australia. The first T20 was held at The Gabba in Brisbane on November 21 which was won by Australia by 4 runs.

In the first ODI at Brisbane, Team Australia had to prematurely end their innings at 158/4 off 17 overs due to heavy rains that prevented the last three overs from being played. The revised D/L target for Team India was then raised to 174 in 17 overs.

After a shocking four-run defeat against Aaron Finch men at Brisbane, Skipper Virat Kohli’s tactics have been questioned. Virat Kohli made some changes in the playing XI and many experts consider it as a reason.

Changes that Virat Kohli made include, he promoted KL Rahul to No.3 ahead of him. Jasprit Bumrah didn’t bowl against the Aussie big-hitter Chris Lynn despite having a great IPL record against him.

Hardik Pandya’s brother Krunal Pandya who is an all-rounder was brought in place of match-winner Yuzvendra Chahal. All these changes resulted in India’s heartbreaking defeat.

Before the second T20I of the three-match T20I series, Pakistani Cricketer Shahid Afridi said, “Virat Kohli is one of my favorite players but he needs to improve as a captain.”

All rounder Shahid Afridi also considers that the present India side has got all that it needs to defeat Australia Down Under. He said, “India-Australia series is going to be a very exciting contest and this Indian team has what it takes to beat Australia in Australia but the team needs to play together.”

India will play a four-match Test series starting December 6 after completing with the three-match T20I series. To get the latest cricket news, cricket match reports, cricket match prediction, live cricket score, and other cricket related updates visit .
